The entrepreneur funded the entire venture himself and, after selling his wholly owned company as part of a £55m deal last year, has built up a personal portfolio of 20 investments in the e-commerce space.Pearson commented: “As vouchers are responsible for billions of pounds of UK transactions every year, they are a critical piece of the ecommerce pie. Until now, the high barrier to entry meant vouchers were really only affordable for big box merchants, so we are thrilled to now offer small businesses an affordable way to offer discounts and deals for their customers.”“This initiative bolsters our ongoing commitment to supporting the growth of UK enterprise, helping small businesses with brand awareness and customer acquisition and consumers to find great deals!”Business owners can sign up for the MyVoucherCodes Launchpad programme from 31 March here.
